To enter the giveaway, you must fill out the above form. You must provide your email address and such other information as Sponsor may require. You must preorder the ebook edition of The Palladium by Thorsten Brandl on Amazon to take part in this giveaway. Offer is subject to the Special Offer Terms. 

 

Proof of Purchase

To enter the giveaway, you must provide proof of purchase of the ebook from Amazon in the United States, the United Kindom, Australia or Canada, in a form deemed sufficient by Sponsor in its discretion to establish such purchase. Proof of purchase may take the form of a copy of a receipt, order confirmation or email showing the retailer name, the date of the transaction and the purchase price and title of the Book. Other forms of proof of purchase, including receipts that do not indicate the title of the Book, may be accepted at the discretion of Sponsor. You may submit a copy of the proof of purchase by uploading it in jpg, jpeg, tif, tiff, bmp, pdf, png, doc or docx format via the above form. 

 

Offer Period 

Offer begins at 10:00 am Pacific Time (PT) on September 6, 2022 and continues through 11:59 pm PT on Thursday, November 17, 2022. 

 

Eligibility 

Offer is open only to persons who are legal residents of the fifty United States, the District of Columbia, Canada (excluding Quebec), the United Kingdom and Australia who are 18 years of age or older and of the legal age of majority in the jurisdiction in which he or she resides. Any person who is under 18 years of age or otherwise under the legal age of majority in their place of residence (a "Minor") must obtain permission from his or her parent or legal guardian, and the agreement of the parent or legal guardian to these Offer Terms, prior to requesting to take part in this giveaway. Eligibility determinations will be made by Sponsor in its discretion and will be final and binding. There is a limit of one giveaway ticket per person, per household and per email address. 

 

Delivery

The winner of the gift card will receive a digital code by email on December 20th, 2022. For the promo package winners, please allow 1 - 6 weeks for delivery depending on your geographic location. The promo package will be delivered only to a mailing address in one of the fifty United States or the District of Columbia, Canada (excluding Quebec), the United Kingdom or Australia. No delivery will be made to P.O. Boxes.

U.S. law governs this offer. Void in Quebec and where prohibited, restricted or taxed. No refunds, exchanges or substitutions are provided, except at the discretion of Sponsor, which has the right to substitute an item of equal or greater value. All details not specified in these Special Offer Terms will be determined by Sponsor at its discretion. All expenses associated with the acceptance or use of the offer item are the responsibility of the recipient. All offer redemption requests must be completed, submitted via the website and received by Sponsor prior to the conclusion of the offer period and while supplies last. Submission times will be determined using Sponsor's computer. Normal time rates, if any, charged by the person's Internet or mobile service provider will apply. The offer item is offered "as is" and without any warranty, except as required by law. Offer void if obtained through non-authorized channels, including without limitation free offers. Requests from groups, clubs or organizations will not be honored. Theft, diversion, reproduction, transfer, sale or purchase of receipts or any other form of proof of purchase is prohibited and may constitute fraud. You must have access to a computer and internet connection to take advantage of this Offer. Sponsor is not responsible for lost, late, delayed, damaged, corrupted, misdirected, incomplete, incorrect or illegible requests, incomplete or inaccurate capture of or loss of submissions or any technical, communication or human error or failure of any kind in connection with the offer or any request. Sponsor has the right to disqualify from participating in this offer any individual who at Sponsor's discretion, Sponsor believes has (i) responded by using robots, spam, or any automated response system, (ii) tampered with the submission process or website or has undermined the legitimate operation of the offer or website by cheating, hacking, deception or other unfair practices, or (iii) has engaged in conduct that abuses, threatens or harasses any other person or any representative of Sponsor or its author. Duplicate requests will not be honored. Any attempt by any person to redeem the offer more than one time by using multiple/different email addresses, identities, devices or other methods may result in disqualification of the person and/or redemption request. Sponsor reserves the right to verify the identity of the individual submitting the request. Offer cannot be combined with any other offer. Cash redemption value 1/100 of 1 cent. Sponsor at its discretion may modify, suspend or cancel this offer at any time and may change or supplement the redemption request requirements by adding captchas or other fraud prevention measures. 

 

Disputes

Each person applying to redeem this offer (and for a Minor, the Minor and the Minor's parent or legal guardian) agrees that, to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, (a) any and all disputes, claims and causes of action arising out of or connected with this Offer, or the provision, acceptance and/or use of any offer item, will be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action (Note: Some jurisdictions do not allow restricting access to class actions. This provision will not apply to residents in such jurisdictions); (b) any and all claims, judgments and awards shall be limited to actual out-of-pocket costs incurred, including costs associated with redeeming the Offer , but in no event attorneys' fees; and (c) under no circumstances will a person applying to redeem this Offer (and for a Minor, the Minor and the Minor's parent or legal guardian) be permitted to obtain any award for, and each such person hereby waives all rights to claim, punitive, special, incidental or consequential damages and any and all rights to have damages multiplied or otherwise increased and any other damages, other than for actual out-of-pocket expenses. All issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation and enforceability of these Offer Terms or the rights and obligations of the parties in connection with the Offer shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with, the laws of the State of Washington in the United States of America without giving effect to any choice of law or conflict of law rules or provisions that would cause the application of the laws of any jurisdiction other than the State of Washington. Any legal proceedings arising out of this Offer or relating to these Offer Terms shall be instituted only in the federal or state courts located in the State of Washington, waiving any right to trial by jury, and each person consents to such jurisdiction. In the event of any conflict between these Offer Terms and any Offer information provided elsewhere (including but not limited to advertising or marketing materials), these Official Terms shall prevail.
